Walkthrough Guide
Everything you need to use PersonaPass — from your first sign-in to scanning business cards and saving them straight into Outlook. Download the PDF above or read the guide below.
1. Sign In
Access your PersonaPass account to create and manage your digital business card.
- 1.Open the PersonaPass app in your web browser.
- 2.If you are not already signed in, you will see a sign-in screen. Tap the “Sign in” button.
- 3.Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account. This is the same account you will use to sync contacts to Outlook.
- 4.Once authenticated you will land on your Dashboard, where you can create and manage your card.
Tip · Your card and profile are linked to your signed-in account, so you can access them from any device after signing in.
2. Create Your Business Card
Build your digital business card with your photo, role, contact details and links.
- 1.From the Dashboard, tap “Create My Card” (or “Edit My Card” if one already exists).
- 2.Tap “Autofill from Microsoft 365” to pull your name, title, company, photo and contact details automatically from your work profile.
- 3.If prompted, tap “Connect / reconnect Microsoft 365 account” and approve the permissions so PersonaPass can read your profile.
- 4.Review and adjust any fields — add a bio, skills, LinkedIn, website, and your location.
- 5.Upload a profile photo if one was not pulled in automatically.
- 6.Tap “Save Card” at the bottom of the form to publish your card.
- 7.After saving, tap “View published card” to preview how it looks to others.
Tip · Your card is live as soon as you save it. You can return to Edit Card at any time to update details.
3. Save Your Card to Your Phone
Pin your card to your iPhone or Android home screen for one-tap access, and share it with anyone.
- 1.Open your published card via the Dashboard “Preview” link, or go to your card URL (e.g. base44.app/card/your-name).
- 2.On iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button in the Safari toolbar, then choose “Add to Home Screen”.
- 3.On Android (Chrome): tap the “Add to Home Screen” button shown beneath your card, or use the browser menu → “Add to Home screen”.
- 4.Confirm the prompt. An app icon will appear on your home screen that opens your card directly.
- 5.To share your card with someone in person, tap the “Share Card” button to send the link via any messaging app.
- 6.Visitors to your card can also tap “Save to Phone” to download a .vcf contact file that imports straight into their phone contacts.
Tip · iPhone users must use Safari for “Add to Home Screen”. The card URL is preserved automatically when you add it.
4. Scan a Business Card & Save to Outlook
Capture physical business cards with your camera and save the contact straight into your Outlook contacts.
- 1.From the app navigation, open the “Scan” page.
- 2.Tap “Take a Photo” to use your camera, or “Upload Image” to choose an existing photo of a business card.
- 3.Frame the card so all text is clearly visible and in focus, then capture the photo.
- 4.Tap “Extract Contact” — the AI reads the card and fills in the name, title, company, email, phone, address, website and LinkedIn.
- 5.Review the extracted details. Tap “Edit” to correct any field if needed, then tap “Done”.
- 6.Tap “Save to Outlook Contacts”. If you have not connected your Microsoft 365 account yet, tap “Connect / reconnect Microsoft 365 account” first and approve the prompt.
- 7.Once saved, the contact appears in your Outlook contacts automatically. Use “Scan Another Card” to repeat.
- 8.If Outlook is unavailable, tap “Download .vcf” to save a contact file you can import manually into Outlook.
Tip · For best results, photograph the card flat on a dark surface in good lighting, filling as much of the frame as possible.
